Roller Coaster Trading Day

Hey, everyone! Ross Cameron here, and today was quite the roller coaster in the market. My day trading started off in the red, almost hitting my maximum loss before making a comeback and finishing in the green. In this blog post, I’ll walk you through the ups and downs of my day, the challenges of trading in the current market, and the lessons I’ve learned from today’s trades.

Yesterday’s Recap and a Tough Start

Yesterday, I had a green day, but I didn’t feel like I was in the zone. I decided to walk away early to avoid making mistakes. As it turned out, one of the stocks I was eyeing continued to move higher after I left. This morning, I revisited the charts to evaluate the price action, which laid the groundwork for my trades today.

Analyzing $NEXI’s Moves

I started the day by evaluating the stock $NEXI, which exhibited significant price movements. As I observed the stock’s behavior, I noticed some challenging patterns, particularly large spreads and sudden drops. These dynamics made trading particularly difficult, leading to unexpected losses early in the day.

Identifying Opportunities: $CRBP and $REVB

Amidst the challenges, I identified opportunities in $CRBP and $REVB, which offered moments of upward momentum. In my live trading chat room, I shared the details of these trades with members in a live setting, illustrating the complexities and uncertainties involved in decision-making during market volatility.

Lessons Learned and Looking Ahead

Reflecting on the day, I acknowledged the importance of precision in stock selection, the risks associated with chasing trades, and the need for caution in current market conditions. I committed to applying these lessons in the coming month, aiming for improved accuracy and quality in my trading decisions.

Conclusion

Today’s trading experience was a valuable learning opportunity, highlighting the intricacies and challenges of navigating the market. As I look ahead to a fresh start in the new month, I remain focused on refining my approach, exercising prudence, and embracing the lessons from today’s trades. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to navigate the dynamic landscape of trading.
