Greece Is Where History Began
Here I am, at the end of my first week of this trading & traveling experience. As I wrote in my latest article here, throughout 2018 I’m living a whole new trading journey as a “solo” trader and traveler. In fact, I’ll be visiting a total of seventeen of the most amazing European cities, living and trading for two weeks from each one of those. I’ve chosen Athens as my first stop, because that’s where history began and, so, I thought there was no better place to begin.
Overall, it’s been an amazing experience so far. I had time for visiting the best monuments and its iconic archaeological sites, tasting some local foods such as the Gyros or the Souvlaki and interacting with a lot of people whom have been really nice and always open to help me out.
All of this has certainly given a huge contribution into making this initial time of the adventure a big success. In the meantime, I’ve been very busy trying to put in place some meaningful content in an attempt to share tips for my readers (and soon vlog watchers too).
I am feeling so blessed and thankful that I have been given this unique opportunity of representing myself and Warrior Trading in this project and I am putting my best effort in order to pay all of this credit back to my believers. In fact, I’ve been very busy learning how to use the new equipment as well as, of course, trading with my upgraded traveling setup.
Trading From A Café Has Been My Weirdest Experience Yet
I was expecting some struggles in my early days as I was sure that I could not plan everything in the tiniest detail. I am old enough to know that, whenever you start something brand new, having some unexpected surprises is just inevitable. What really matters in the end, it’s how we decide to react.
So, as soon as I’ve gotten into the home that I’ve initially booked for my entire stay, I realized that the internet connection offered was really too low of quality and unreliable for my trading needs, despite having been reassured when I was making the reservation last month.
This situation put me in some serious struggle, since I did not want to lose any trading session, especially in the very beginning of this journey. So, soon enough I realized that the internet connection speed at a local restaurant café that is just a couple of blocks away from the house was strong enough to be used for trading purposes (I’d suggest any at least 5Mb/s and below 100ms ping latency).
So, I packed my trading setup and put everything in my backpack. Then, I went to the café and they were kind enough to host me, the weird guy with multiple monitors. I was just in time for my pre-market routine in the chat room and I ended up spending a total of 4 hours and walking away with great food, more friends and a couple of hundred bucks in my pocket (really not bad considering the emotional state I was finding myself in).
So, hopefully this is a great sign of the beginning of an awesome journey. I can’t wait to live more of this lifestyle that trading has made possible for me as well as to be representing that one “hope” for someone, not even couple of years after I was getting inspired to start this career.
