Nick’s Story
Nick is a day trader based out of New Hampshire who has earned his $50k badge at Warrior Trading. Nick became interested in trading during the Pandemic and spent three years going back and forth between Paper Trading in the Simulator and trading with real money, but without a lot of success. After getting married, he and his wife embarked on a 9-month-long honeymoon where they traveled in Asia and the South Pacific.
Initially, Nick planned to trade while they traveled since he knew all he needed was a laptop and an internet connection. However as it turned out, the internet was not reliable. He instead decided to take a 9-month break from trading. During this time he worked on his primary business, an Amazon FBA store. This provided him with the cash flow to continue the extended honeymoon.
Upon their return home, Nick settled back into his home office and started trading again. Within a few short months, he knew something had changed. His account began to grow and his confidence in his strategy grew as well.
Nick’s Strategy
Nick trades a strategy very similar to Ross. He’s a momentum trader primarily focused on trading stocks with breaking news between the hours of 7am and 10am ET. Like Josh and Danny, Nick uses Charles Schwab as his broker. He benefits from commission-free trading and has several decent trading platforms he can choose from. Nick attributes his turning point in part to the success of his Amazon FBA store. He recalled that it took the pressure off of him to produce big trading profits. This allowed him to focus on trading the highest-quality setups. We always like to say Trade The Best, Leave The Rest.
