It’s Always Day One
Good days and bad days happen. Whether we like or not, we don’t really have much room for choice about when either of those are going to happen. Sometimes it can be extremely pleasant or largely frustrating but in any case, we’ve got to deal with it. There are always going to be some backward steps even though we all love moving forward rather than having to accept punches right in the face.
As day traders, we need to take complete responsibility for our own actions. We have to fall in love with the idea there is nobody else to blame if something goes wrong. The market will never care about our feelings and that’s ok. So, the journey of being a trader is mostly about learning more about ourselves as we go along with it.
So, on one hand there is literally no point in giving up because with the right mindset we can always switch a bad trade into a great lesson learned for the future or, on the other hand, learning how to keep both feet on the ground when we manage to close a trade that resolved very well in our favor.
As far as we know, the bottom line is that it’s always day one. There is no better approach than waking up and starting fresh every morning without plenty of expectations for what lies ahead. In a life of a trader, the greatest castle is always built brick after brick over the long run.
There is no such thing as enjoying the journey
We live in a world where everything looks like easy to achieve from the outside. When looking at somebody else fortune, common sense is to think about how lucky that person is. Someone would experience envy, jealousy or even hate. But I’ve learned not to care about what other people have, or even to be happy about what they have achieved so that I can get inspiration from them.
The truth is that 99% of those people who have reached a so called wealthy status have worked really hard to get there. And only in that hustle is kept the secret of getting there. That’s why I always give to all entrepreneurs my highest respect. They chose not to survive but to put every single drop of energy into their mission.
The good news is the everybody can start doing the same because the only factor that matters is completely under our control, free and equal for anybody out there. This is time. So, if you happen to share the same perspective and believe trading can be your thing, go ahead and start putting your highest resource into studying meaningful material like the one offered by Warrior Trading (link here).
Now, you can believe me or not but I’m not paid to say so. The material in the courses as well as the community that populates the chat-room every day give so much value that I couldn’t suggest any other place to start from. Now, you can continue to complain and even to blame anybody else or you can choose to stop whining and begin hustling remembering that there is no such thing as enjoying the journey. It’s always day one.
“What we need to do is always lean into the future; when the world changes around you and when it changes against you – what used to be a tail wind is now a head wind – you have to lean into that and figure out what to do because complaining isn’t a strategy.” – Jeff Bezos
See you in chat-room, if you wish.
