Here I am, on the fifth stop of this amazing journey of trading and traveling around Europe. This time, I am in Lisbon and this is going to be the furthest west I’ll go on this trip. It’s been another incredible city to be living in, a city where I think there is the best balance between cost and quality of life among the ones I have been to so far.

In fact, the level of entertainment, public services, infrastructure and overall perceived quality offered by this city have been really stunning to me. And that’s even more impressive if you take into consideration that the cost of living is absolutely among the most affordable of the whole continent.

It’s by no surprise that this destination is a total blast among digital nomads that are choosing it as the ideal place to build up innovative start-ups or to perform remote jobs as consultants or independent writers.

During my stay, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of them and get to know from their own perspective how much favorable the environment is for stimulating innovation and entrepreneurial initiative. So, needless to say, Lisbon is a great fit for independent traders!

The weather is also really favorable all year round, thanks to the presence of the Ocean that mitigates cold temperatures during the winter while helping not to have extremely hot temperature during summer as well.

So, a lot of people are coming from other countries to spend their retirement here and throughout the rest of Portugal. In other words, Lisbon is doing a great job on attracting a wide variety of people by intelligently easing the transition and offering everything they need to succeed.

Waking Up Early Is A Huge Opportunity For Everyone

Because, in the end, it’s all about being in the right community to be able to perform the job we’ve committed to at our best capabilities. And for me, it’s a total blessing to be able to bring it with me wherever I go. Getting connected to the Warrior Trading chat-room while I’m on-the-go gives me the edge over tons of other traders, no matter where I am working from.

As many of you know, the trading session in Europe starts during the afternoon. So, it would be totally OK to be waking up with no alarms set every day and still not missing a single open market session.

However, I’ve also felt really great to be starting my day even earlier than I used to as I see this as an opportunity to build my edge even bigger over time by reviewing my past trades and readjusting my plans for the following sessions.

During the early morning, after going through all my trades and reviewing my gameplan, I immediately feel refreshed and very productive. I strongly suggest giving it a shot by committing to do it for two straight weeks (I woke up at 4:30AM) just to have an idea of how powerful this practice can be for consistent, faster and long-lasting results.

So, Lisbon to me hasn’t just been about “Pastel De Nata” or the iconic “Bachalau” (they are absolutely amazing and I’d suggest to check them out) but really about experiencing one more step forward in this inspirational journey as the traveling trader and the inside journey to continue growing as human being.
